We are indebted to volunteers for their contribution to so many of our projects – from building homes to building this website. For many it has been a life-changing experience that turned into return trips and lasting friendships.
Narú offers short and long-term volunteering on a limited basis, with the need for Spanish language varying according to the position. For more information on the options below, please write to volunteer@naruguatemala.org
Volunteer options
In the office
We often have openings for fluent English-speaking volunteers who can support our communications and fundraising efforts based in the office a few minutes outside of Antigua.
In the field
If you are studying, or are qualified in, a relevant branch of health care, horticulture or agronomy, we would be happy to discuss opportunities.
Expeditions
Narú welcomes groups who have skills to share with our projects, usually during a week-long trip. We take care of logistics and can help with the planning of onward travels in the country.
