In our model homes, we have chicken coops made from locally available materials.
Lately, Abelino has been working hard on improving the infrastructure of the poultry house using readily-available tanil. Hens, roosters, ducks and chompipes (a local turkey) will benefit from the makeover. Their chicks go to families who learn the skills to look after them from Abelino at Ochoch Charmak. Currently there are more than 80 birds enjoying the freedom of the site as well as Abelino’s care.
